Rainy days make great cigar smoking days

Long rainy afternoons in this part of Southwest Florida. Might put a damper on some golf games but there's always more sunshine in a little while here.

One of our latest cigars to arrive are Kristoff cigars. Uniquely rolled with a small "pig tail" cap and Cuban style foot these cigars are impressing us quite a bit. True to it's creator, Glen Close's description, his Kristoff Ligero Criollo embodies incredible notes of toasted nut, caramel, undertones of cedar, spice and a sweet finish. This cigar leaves a clean, fresh finish on your palate. These are great cigars not only for your own enjoyment but ones we'd recommend as a high end quality gift cigars for a cigar lover.

One of my own personal favorites is his Kristoff Sumatra. I love a sultry Sumatra wrapper and this cigar, which uses a rich aged Ecuadorian Sumatra over a Brazilian binder, is temptation personified. The filler is all long leaf and an outstanding blend of smooth Dominican and flavorful Nicaraguan tobacco. Faint delightful "barn" scent at the foot upon presentation. The feel of the cigar is just right. No soft spots and well crafted. Beautiful burn line with almost a perfect ash. These are cigars that can be described as "Impressive" and live up to it!
